Once again the Mckenzie County Heritage Park is opening the grounds of the park for artists to show case their original works during Heritage Days.
From the Heritage Park Page:
We are so excited to join forces this year with the American Legion, and the Long X Arts Foundation! Along with our old time fun, we will be commemorating the Centennial Anniversary of the end of WWI and celebrating the Centennial Anniversary of the American Legion.
The Long X Arts Foundation will have artists stationed throughout the buildings of the park. They will have their work on display and for sale. The foundation will provide activities through out the day for the kiddos.
The Community Foundation will be providing slush burgers, we will also have snow cones and more through out the day.
And as always, the equipment stationed through out the park will be up and running. Come and enjoy watching the belt driven saws in our Sawmill cutting away, our tractors will be running, and the Threshing Machine will create that monster straw pile for the kiddos to look for their change in!
Miss Sandy will be ready to play school in the Nelson School, and she will also have pies for the pie eating contest! Be sure to come in WWI period dress for our costume contest & be ready to win that sack race again this year!
Our music through out the day will be provided by Lane Sandstrom, he will sing our beautiful national Anthem, along with song's honoring our country and other favorites.
This is a fun family day, come prepared to have a great time! We can't wait to see you!
It is free to get in the park, however we happily accept donatio
